15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
2 for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. When they were completed, he was hungry.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God," for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
O escape providenciado
Deus sempre providencia uma saída. Não precisamos cair, pois Ele nos dá forças para resistir e promete nos livrar da provação.
13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
9 the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment;
13 Let us not come into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. [For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.]'
9 Lord, all my desire is before you.My groaning is not hidden from you.
Vigilância e resistência
A Palavra de Deus, a oração e a vigilância são nossas armas contra a tentação. Vigiar e orar é o conselho do próprio Jesus.
41 Watch and pray, that you do not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
22 And what was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
20 He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.21 For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,22 covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."
1 Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted.
28 Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which he promised to those who love him.
