For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tried or tested like as [we are, yet] without sin.
Being forty days tried or tested of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Let no man say when he is tried or tested, I am tried or tested of God-The Father: for God-The Father cannot be tried or tested with evil, neither tempts he any man:
Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith works patience.
O escape providenciado
Deus sempre providencia uma saída. Não precisamos cair, pois Ele nos dá forças para resistir e promete nos livrar da provação.
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God-The Father [is] faithful, who will not suffer (allow, to let, permit) you to be tried or tested above that you2f are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you2f may be able to bear [it].
The Lord - Kurios knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
"and do not allow us into the power of temptation but keep us from all evil. Amen".
Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things], all my desire [is] before youi; and my groaning is not hid from youi.
Vigilância e resistência
A Palavra de Deus, a oração e a vigilância são nossas armas contra a tentação. Vigiar e orar é o conselho do próprio Jesus.
"Watch and pray lest you enter into temptation, because truly the Spirit [Ruach] is ready to go to its creator, but the flesh is weak and sick".
"That which fell among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word and in his desire to gather wealth, Satan [the adversary] causes him to forget the word of Elohim (The Many Powered) [The Living Word of God] and makes no fruit."
And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness (being lustful, loose or lewd; promoting lustful desires in others), an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you2f which are spiritual, restore such an one in the Spirit [Ruach] of meekness; considering yourself, lest youi also be tried or tested.
Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord - Kurios has promised to them that love him.
