15 For we have not a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

2 for forty days in the wilderness, tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days; and when they were ended, he was hungry.

13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted with evil and he himself tempts no one;

3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

O escape providenciado

Deus sempre providencia uma saída. Não precisamos cair, pois Ele nos dá forças para resistir e promete nos livrar da provação.

13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

13 And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.

9 I am utterly spent and crushed; I groan because of the tumult of my heart.

Vigilância e resistência

A Palavra de Deus, a oração e a vigilância são nossas armas contra a tentação. Vigiar e orar é o conselho do próprio Jesus.

41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the delight in riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.

20 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, adultery,21 coveting, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, foolishness.22 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a man."23 And from there he arose and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house, and would not have any one know it; yet he could not be hid.

1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Look to yourself, lest you too be tempted.

28 Or can one walk upon hot coals and his feet not be scorched?

12 Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.
