15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin.

2 where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. He ate nothing in those days, and *afterward, when they had ended, he was hungry.

13 No one should say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God," for God is not tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.

3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is *faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation he will also provide the way out so that you can endure it.

9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

13 And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

* For yoʋrs is the kingdom

and the power and the glory forever.

41 Keep watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

22 The seed sown among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of *this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

20 He also said, "It is what comes out of a person that defiles a person. 21 For from within, from the hearts of men, come evil thoughts, *adultery, fornication, murder, 22 theft, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a person."

1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness, paying attention to yoʋrself so that yoʋ too are not tempted.

12 Blessed is the man who *14 ¦ will endure 𝔐5endures temptation, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which *the Lord has promised to those who love him.
