Tristeza
A tristeza faz parte da experiência humana, mas a Bíblia nos assegura que Deus está perto dos que sofrem. Ele enxuga as lágrimas e transforma a dor em esperança.
Deus consola os aflitos
O Senhor está perto dos quebrantados de coração. Mesmo no vale mais escuro, sua presença é refúgio e consolo para a alma que chora.
But when his people call out for help, he hears them and rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close beside those who are broken-hearted; he saves those whose spirits are crushed.

A alegria virá
A dor tem prazo de validade. A manhã de alegria sempre vem depois da noite de choro. Deus promete transformar o luto em dança.
For his anger only lasts a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. You may spend the night in tears, but happiness comes with the morning.
I heard a loud voice from the throne say, "Now God's home is with human beings and he will live with them. They will be his people. God himself will be with them as their God. Seen as miserable, we are always rejoicing; as poor, but we make many rich; as destitute, but we own everything!

O choro e o arrependimento
Há tristezas que produzem arrependimento e conduzem à vida. O choro diante de Deus é acolhido e transformado em bênção.
"Yet even now," says the Lord, "Come back to me while there is still time. Come to me with all your heart, with fasting and prayer.
The vines are shriveled, the fig trees are withered; the pomegranate, the palm, and the apricot trees—all the fruit trees have dried up, and at the same time the people's happiness has also dried up.

A wise son makes his father happy, but a stupid son only brings his mother grief.
For with great wisdom comes great frustration. The greater the knowledge, the greater the pain.
So don't let your mind worry, and avoid things that hurt your body. Even so, despite youth and enthusiasm, life is still so hard to understand!
Don't disappoint the Holy Spirit of God that marked you as belonging to him until the day of redemption.
