Valioso
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. farthing: it is in value halfpenny farthing in the original, as being the tenth part of the Roman penny30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the sabbath days.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Preciosos aos olhos de Deus
O Senhor declara que somos preciosos e valiosos aos seus olhos. Ele nos chama de propriedade exclusiva e nos reveste de glória.
4 Since thou hast been precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. life: or, person
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a special treasure to me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. shine…: or, be enlightened; for thy light cometh
O verdadeiro valor
A Bíblia nos ensina que a fé, a integridade e o caráter são mais valiosos que ouro ou prata. O que tem valor eterno transcende o material.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thy heart:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. good…: or, good success
20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
