1. Lucas 2:10-11

O anjo traz a mensagem da grande alegria que é o nascimento de Cristo.

The message is that today a baby has been born in Bethlehem, the town where King David grew up. That baby will eventually save you from the guilt of your sins! He is the Messiah, your Lord!

2. João 3:16

God sent his Son into the world to save everyone who trusts in him.

God loved us people [MTY] in the world so much that he gave his only Son as a sacrifice for us, in order that everyone who believes in him would not be separated from God forever. Instead, they would have eternal life.

3. Isaías 9:6

Uma profecia que revela o papel de Cristo como o Príncipe da Paz.

Another reason that we will rejoice is that a special child will be born for us;

a woman will give birth to a son,

who will be our ruler.

And his names will be Wonderful Counselor, Mighty/Powerful God, Our Everlasting Father, and Prince/Ruler who enables us to have Peace.

4. Mateus 1:23

Este versículo nos lembra da presença de Deus conosco em Jesus.

"Listen, a virgin will become pregnant and will give birth to a son. They will call him Emmanuel." Emmanuel means God is with us.

5. Lucas 1:30-31

O anúncio do nascimento de Jesus a Maria, que nos lembra da graça de Deus.

Then the angel said to her, "Mary, God is very pleased with you (sg), so do not be afraid. You will become pregnant and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus.

6. 2 Coríntios 9:15

Uma expressão simples, mas profunda, de gratidão por Jesus, o maior presente de todos.

Finally, we should all thank God because he gave us the greatest gift of all when he sent his Son to save/rescue us(inc) from the guilt of our sin/from being punished for our sin►. That is a gift too wonderful for anyone to be able to tell about completely!

7. Gálatas 4:4-5

Este versículo lembra que o nascimento de Jesus teve um propósito divino: nossa adoção como filhos de Deus.

But exactly at the time [MTY] that God had previously determined, he sent Jesus, who is his Son/the man who is also God►, into the world. Jesus was born to a human mother. He had to obey the laws that God gave to Moses. God sent Jesus in order that he might redeem us who had to obey God’s laws. God wanted us all to receive from God the status of being his children [MET].

8. João 1:14

A encarnação de Cristo, um grande mistério da nossa fé, que traz a presença de Deus à Terra.

The one who expresses [MET] God’s character/what God is likebecame a human being, and he lived among us for a while. As a result, we saw how wonderful he is. He came from God his father, and there was no other person as wonderful as he. He was wonderful because he always acted kindly toward us/in ways we did not deserve►, and he always spoke truthfully to us about God.

9. Colossenses 1:19

A plena presença de Deus em Jesus, que é a expressão de Deus em carne.

God’s Son reveals perfectly what God his Father is like, because his Father chose to live completely in him.

10. Lucas 2:14

A mensagem dos anjos aos pastores, proclamando a paz trazida pelo nascimento de Jesus.

"May all the angels in the highest heaven praise God! And on the earth may the people to whom God has shown his favor have peace with him!"
