God Our Refuge

1 God is our refuge and strength,

a helper who is always found

in times of trouble.  *

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe  * so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  *

10 Do not fear, for I am with you;  *

do not be afraid, for I am your God.  *

I will strengthen you; I will help you;

I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.  *

28 "Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.*

17 For our momentary light affliction  * is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.  *18 So we do not focus on what is seen,  * but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

17 The righteous  * cry out, and the  Lord  hears,

and rescues them from all their troubles.  *

18 The Lord is near the brokenhearted;

he saves those crushed in spirit.  *

23 Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.  *

6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses  * all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.  *
