11 For I know the plans that I *have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for *prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

God, the Refuge of His People.

1 God is our refuge and strength,

A *very ready help in *trouble.

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;

Do not be afraid, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, I will also help you,

I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

28 "Come to Me, all *who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

17 For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears

And rescues them from all their troubles.

18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted

And saves those who are *crushed in spirit.

23 Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;

7 having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.

6 Do not *be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all *comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
