A escravidão do pecado

Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.

So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Truth Will Set You Free

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Do Not Submit Again to a Yoke of Slavery

Stand fast therefore in the freedom for which Christ has set us free, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

Resistência e domínio próprio

O fruto do Espírito inclui o domínio próprio.

envy, murder, drunkenness, revelries, and the like. I warn you, just as I warned you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.

Flee Fornication

but I discipline my body and make it my slave, lest somehow after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to man. God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation he will also provide the way out so that you can endure it.

Keep watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Submit yourselves therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

Living Sacrifices to God

I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, your reasonable religious service. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may determine what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

So you also must consider yourselves to be dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal bodies so that you obey it in the body’s sinful desires. And do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.

For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection. For we know that our old self has been crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.

For the saving grace of God has appeared to all people, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly manner in the present age,

so as to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for the evil desires of men, but for the will of God. For 107 47% ¦ you have spent enough of your doing 𝔐42 ANT HF PCK 41.5% ¦ enough has been spent doing CT 11.2%we have spent enough of our lives doing what the Gentiles like to do, walking in sensual indulgences, evil desires, excesses of wine, revelries, drinking bouts, and illicit idolatries. They are surprised when you do not run with them into the same flood of debauchery, so they revile you. But they will give an account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to the dead, so that, though they have been judged in the flesh as men are, they might live in the spirit as God does.

The end of all things has drawn near. Therefore be alert and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

If we say that we do not have sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

O corpo como templo

Nosso corpo é templo do Espírito Santo.

Do you not know that pt ¦ your bodies are 𝔐ptyour body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own,

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor the greedy, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Do not be drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for the sake of yoʋr stomach and yoʋr frequent illnesses.)

For all that is in the worldthe lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of lifeis not from the Father, but from the world.

Be sober-minded and watchful; your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking 29 ¦ someone he can 𝔐9 ANT HF RP TR ¦ to WHsomeone to devour.

Salt and Light

"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt loses its flavor, with what shall it be seasoned? It is no longer fit for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For yoʋrs is the kingdom

and the power and the glory forever.

Amen.

For it is written,

"As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me,

and every tongue will give praise to God."

So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
