A vida eterna é a promessa central do evangelho. Não se trata apenas de duração infinita, mas de qualidade de vida em comunhão com Deus, começando aqui e se estendendo pela eternidade.
O dom gratuito da vida eterna
A vida eterna é um presente de Deus, não resultado de obras humanas. É dada gratuitamente a quem crê em Jesus Cristo.

But because of this, I received rachamim that in me, the foremost, Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua might display all savlanut (longsuffering, patience), making me a mofet (model) to the ones about to have bitachon (trust) and emunah in Moshiach, resulting in Chayyei Olam.
A certeza para quem crê
Quem está em Cristo tem a certeza de que passou da morte para a vida. Nada pode arrebatar o crente da mão de Deus.

O caminho para a eternidade
Jesus é o caminho para a vida eterna. Crer nele, segui-lo e perseverar na fé são os passos que nos conduzem à eternidade com Deus.

Yehoshua said, Omein, I say to you, there is no one who left bais or achim or achayot or em or abba or banim or sadot (fields) for the sake of me and for the sake of the Besuras HaGeulah, But that he shall receive a hundredfold now in the Olam Hazeh, batim (houses) and achim and achayot and imahot and banim and sadot with redifot (persecutions); and in Olam Habah, Chayyei Olam.
And a certain Talmid Chacham, a Baal Torah, stood up, testing Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach, saying, Rabbi, what mitzvah must I do to inherit Chayyei Olam? And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said to him, In the Torah what has been written? How do you read it? And in reply the Baal Torah said, V’AHAVTA ES ADONOI ELOHEICHA B’CHOL LEVAVCHA UVECHOL NAFSHECHA UVECHOL MODECHA and L’REACHA KAMOCHA. And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach said to him, Your answer is frum. Richtik. Do this and you will live.

Perseverança e glória futura
A vida eterna exige perseverança. Os sofrimentos presentes não se comparam com a glória que será revelada. Deus nos guardará até o fim.
To those who, by savlanut (patience), persevere in doing hatov (the good), seek for kavod (glory) and honor and incorruptibility, He will give Chayyei Olam (Eternal Life).
In order that as Chet (Sin) reigned in Mavet (Death), so also Chesed might reign through Tzedek Olamim to Chayyei Olam through Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua Adoneinu.
For I reckon that the yisurim (suffering) of zman hazeh (of this present time) are not to be compared with the coming kavod (glory) to be revealed in us.
For our present momentary tzoros is preparing us for an eternal weight of kavod (glory) utterly beyond measure,
While we continue to look not at the visible things but the invisible; for the things visible are zemanniyim (temporary) but the things invisible are for l’olamim.
Do not be led astray. Hashem is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, this also he will reap. For the one sowing to the basar of himself, of the basar will reap churban (destruction); but the one sowing to the Ruach HaKodesh, of the Ruach HaKodesh will reap Chayyei Olam.

Now the Elohei Kol Chen v’Chesed (the G-d of all Grace), the one having bestowed upon you the kri’ah (calling) into His eternal kavod in Moshiach Yehoshua, after you have suffered tzoros for a little while, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
But you, Chaverim, build yourselves up on what is kodesh kodeshim (most holy) of yours, your Emunah, the Emunah of the true Dat HaYehudit (Faith), davening in the Ruach Hakodesh. Keep yourselves in the Ahavas Hashem, awaiting the rachamim of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Adoneinu Yehoshua unto Chayyei Olam.
A eternidade com Deus
A Bíblia descreve a plenitude da vida eterna: sem dor, sem lágrimas, em perfeita comunhão com Deus para sempre.

And rabbim of them that sleep in the admat aphar (dust of the ground) shall awake, some to Chayyei Olam (Everlasting Life), and some to reproaches (shames) and Dera’on Olam (Everlasting Contempt, Abhorrence, Aversion, i.e.), Everlasting Gehinnom. And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to tzedakah (righteousness) as the kokhavim (stars) leolam v’ed (forever and ever).

and shall obtain ratzon Hashem.
And the Olam Hazeh is making its histalkus (passing away) and the ta’avah (lust) of it, but the one doing the ratzon Hashem has his maon lanetzakh (permanent dwelling place to remain for ever).
