3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.6 We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the sinful body might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.7 For he who has died is freed from sin.

11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

17 Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

11 Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scyth'ian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all.

22 Put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts,23 and be renewed in the spirit of your minds,24 and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

8 But now put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk from your mouth.9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices10 and have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.11 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.12 Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy Spirit from me.

25 I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.26 A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.

3 Among these we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.4 But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us,5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
