Vida
A vida é um dom precioso de Deus. Desde a concepção até a eternidade, as Escrituras revelam o propósito, o valor e a plenitude da vida que o Senhor nos oferece.
Deus, o autor da vida
O Senhor é quem dá a vida e a sustenta. Cada ser humano foi formado por suas mãos com propósito e intenção divina.
And the Lord God formed man of the slime of the earth: and breathed into his face the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
I know that the Lord will do justice to the needy, and will revenge the poor.

Prioridades e eternidade
Jesus nos lembra que a vida é mais que comida e o corpo mais que roupa. O que importa é buscar o Reino de Deus e viver para a eternidade.
Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you shall eat, nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat: and the body more than the raiment? Behold the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns: and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not you of much more value than they? And which of you by taking thought, can add to his stature by one cubit?
For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?
And calling the multitude together with his disciples, he said to them: If any man will follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel, shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For he that shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation: the Son of man also will be ashamed of him, when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
And he said to them: Take heed and beware of all covetousness; for a man’s life doth not consist in the abundance of things which he possesseth.
