Vida
A vida é um dom precioso de Deus. Desde a concepção até a eternidade, as Escrituras revelam o propósito, o valor e a plenitude da vida que o Senhor nos oferece.
Deus, o autor da vida
O Senhor é quem dá a vida e a sustenta. Cada ser humano foi formado por suas mãos com propósito e intenção divina.
A vida em Cristo
Jesus é o caminho, a verdade e a vida. Nele encontramos sentido, plenitude e a promessa de vida abundante e eterna.
Jesus says to him: "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through me.
The thief comes only in order to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes into me, though he may die, will live; and everyone who both lives and believes into me will never ever die. Do you believe this?"
So Jesus said to them: "I am the bread of the Life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes into me will never thirst.
The one believing into me, just as the Scripture has said, out from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water."
I have been crucified with Christ, so it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; what I now live in this body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself in my place.
I have been crucified with Christ, so it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me; what I now live in this body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself in my place.
Vivendo com sabedoria
A Bíblia nos orienta a viver com sabedoria, aproveitando bem o tempo, guardando o coração e buscando a vontade de Deus para cada dia.
See then that you walk carefully, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
A vida no dia a dia
Therefore, I say to you not to worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not superior to them? And which of you can add one cubit to his stature by worrying?
Well, what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
He summoned the crowd, along with His disciples, and said to them: "Whoever wants to follow along behind me must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Because whoever may resolve to ‘save’ his life will waste it; but whoever may ‘waste’ his life for my sake and the Gospel’s, he will save it. Well, what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? Yes, whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of the Man will also be ashamed of Him whenever He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy Angels."
Then He said to them, "Keep alert and guard against covetousness, because one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
Now eternal life is this: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One whom You sent—Jesus Christ.
—we walk by faith, not by sight—
