4 Because the Lord your God is in the midst of you, and will fight for you against your enemies, to deliver you from danger.

8 And the Lord said to Josue: Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thy hands: none of them shall be able to stand against thee.

31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle: but the Lord giveth safety.

3 Thy hand destroyed the Gentiles, and thou plantedst them : thou didst afflict the people and cast them out.4 For they got not the possession of the land by their own sword : neither did their own arm save them. But thy right hand and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance : because thou wast pleased with them.

4 For whatsoever is born of God, overcometh the world: and this is the victory which overcometh the world, our faith.

37 But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?

55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?56 Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law.57 But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect.

16 For a just mall shall fall seven times and shall rise again: but the wicked shall fall down into evil.

13 O grant us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee.

13 I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.
