16 Digo, porém: Andai pelo Espírito, e não haveis de cumprir a cobiça da carne.

17 Porque a carne luta contra o Espírito, e o Espírito contra a carne; e estes se opõem um ao outro, para que não façais o que quereis.

16 And I say: In the Spirit walk you, and the desire of the flesh you may not complete;

17 for the flesh does desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that you may will -- these you may not do;
