29 Agora, Senhor, despedes em paz o teu servo, segundo a tua palavra;

31 A qual tu preparaste perante a face de todos os povos;

25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. And this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the encouragement of Israel, and Holy Spirit was upon him.

26 And it was divinely revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, that he would not see death before he would see the Christ of Lord.

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the child Jesus, for them to do according to the custom of the law about him,

28 he also received it into his arms, and praised God, and said,

29 Now dismiss thy bondman in peace, Master, according to thy word,

30 because my eyes have seen thy salvation,

31 which thou prepared toward the face of all the peoples:

32 a light for enlightenment of Gentiles, and glory of thy people Israel.
