8 maar God bewys sy liefde tot ons daarin dat Christus vir ons gesterf het toe ons nog sondaars was.

9 Veel meer dan sal ons, nou dat ons geregverdig is in sy bloed, deur Hom gered word van die toorn.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
