42 Maar wee julle, Fariseërs, want julle gee tiendes van die kruisement en die wynruit en elke groentesoort, en julle verwaarloos die reg en die liefde tot God. Hierdie dinge behoort julle te doen sonder om die ander na te laat.

42 But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and God’s love. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
