1 And when the day of Pentecost was now come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them tongues parting asunder, like as of fire; and it sat upon each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

1 Le jour de la Pentecôte étant arrivé, ils étaient tous d'un accord dans un même lieu.

2 Alors il vint tout à coup du ciel un bruit comme celui d'un vent torrentueux puissant; et il remplit toute la maison où ils étaient.

3 Et il leur apparut des langues séparées, comme un feu éblouissant, et qui reposait sur chacun d'eux.

4 Et ils furent tous remplis à déborder de la Sainte Présence de Christ, et ils commencèrent à parler les langues des peuples étrangers, selon que l'Esprit les faisait parler.
