1 Praise ye Jehovah.

I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart,

In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of Jehovah are great,

Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His work is honor and majesty;

And his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered:

Jehovah is gracious and merciful.

5 He hath given food unto them that fear him:

He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He hath showed his people the power of his works,

In giving them the heritage of the nations.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice;

All his precepts are sure.

8 They are established for ever and ever;

They are done in truth and uprightness.

9 He hath sent redemption unto his people;

He hath commanded his covenant for ever:

Holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom;

A good understanding have all they that do his commandments:

His praise endureth for ever.

1 Lăudați pe Domnul!

Voi lăuda*Ps. 35:18;89:5;107:32;109:30;149:1. pe Domnul din toată inima mea,

în tovărășia oamenilor fără prihană și în adunare.

2 Mari*Iov 38—41.Ps. 92:5;139:14.Apoc. 15:3. sunt lucrările Domnului,

cercetate*Ps. 143:5. de toți cei ce le iubesc!

3 Strălucire și măreție*Ps. 145:4,5,10. este lucrarea Lui,

și dreptatea Lui ține în veci!

4 El a lăsat o aducere aminte a minunilor Lui;

Domnul este îndurător și milostiv*Ps. 86:5;103:8..

5 El a dat hrană*Mat. 6:26,33. celor ce se tem de El;

El Își aduce pururea aminte de legământul Lui.

6 El a arătat poporului Său puterea lucrărilor Lui,

căci le-a dat moștenirea neamurilor.

7 Lucrările mâinilor Lui sunt credincioșie*Apoc. 15:3. și dreptate;

toate poruncile Lui sunt adevărate*Ps. 19:7.,

8 întărite*Is. 40:8.Mat. 5:18. pentru veșnicie,

făcute*Ps. 19:9.Apoc. 15:3. cu credincioșie și neprihănire.

9 A trimis poporului Său izbăvirea*Mat. 1:21.Luca 1:68.,

a așezat legământul Său în veci;

Numele Lui este sfânt*Luca 1:49. și înfricoșat.

10 Frica de Domnul este începutul*Deut. 4:6.Iov 28:28.Prov. 1:7;9:10.Ecl. 12:13. înțelepciunii;

toți cei ce o păzesc au o minte sănătoasă

și slava Lui ține în veci.
