1 Praise ye Jehovah.

Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah,

Praise the name of Jehovah.

2 Blessed be the name of Jehovah

From this time forth and for evermore.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same

Jehovah’s name is to be praised.

4 Jehovah is high above all nations,

And his glory above the heavens.

5 Who is like unto Jehovah our God,

That hath his seat on high,

6 That humbleth himself to behold

The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,

And lifteth up the needy from the dunghill;

8 That he may set him with princes,

Even with the princes of his people.

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house,

And to be a joyful mother of children.

Praise ye Jehovah.

Robii Domnului, lăudați*Ps. 135:1.,

lăudați Numele Domnului!

2 Fie*Dan. 2:20. Numele Domnului binecuvântat

de acum și până în veac!

3 De la*Is. 59:19.Mal. 1:11. răsăritul soarelui până la apusul lui,

fie Numele Domnului lăudat!

4 Domnul este înălțat*Ps. 79:9;99:2. mai presus de toate neamurile,

slava Lui este mai presus de*Ps. 8:1. ceruri.

5 Cine*Ps. 89:6. este ca Domnul Dumnezeul nostru,

care locuiește atât de sus?

6 El*Ps. 11:4;138:6.Is. 57:15. Își pleacă privirile să vadă

ce se face în ceruri și pe pământ.

7 El*1 Sam. 2:8.Ps. 107:41. ridică pe sărac din țărână,

înalță pe cel lipsit din gunoi,

8 ca să-i*Iov 36:7. facă să șadă împreună cu cei mari:

cu mai-marii poporului Său.

9 El*1 Sam. 2:5.Ps. 68:6.Is. 54:1.Gal. 4:27. dă o casă celei ce era stearpă,

face din ea o mamă veselă în mijlocul copiilor ei.
