A Psalm of David.

1 I will give thee thanks with my whole heart:

Before the gods will I sing praises unto thee.

2 I will worship toward thy holy temple,

And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth:

For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

3 In the day that I called thou answeredst me,

Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

4 All the kings of the earth shall give thee thanks, O Jehovah,

For they have heard the words of thy mouth.

5 Yea, they shall sing of the ways of Jehovah;

For great is the glory of Jehovah.

6 For though Jehovah is high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly;

But the haughty he knoweth from afar.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me;

Thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies,

And thy right hand will save me.

8 Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me:

Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever;

Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

1 Te laud din toată inima,

cânt laudele Tale înaintea*Ps. 119:46. dumnezeilor.

2 Mă*Ps. 28:2. închin în*1 Împ. 8:29,30.Ps. 5:7. Templul Tău cel sfânt

și laud Numele Tău pentru bunătatea și credincioșia Ta,

căci Ți s-a mărit*Is. 42:21. faima prin împlinirea făgăduințelor Tale.

3 În ziua când Te-am chemat, m-ai ascultat,

m-ai îmbărbătat și mi-ai întărit sufletul.

4 Toți*Ps. 102:15,22. împărații pământului Te vor lăuda, Doamne,

când vor auzi cuvintele gurii Tale;

5 ei vor lăuda căile Domnului,

căci mare este slava Domnului!

6 Domnul este*Ps. 113:5,6.Is. 57:15. înălțat, totuși vede*Prov. 3:34.Iac. 4:6.1 Pet. 5:5. pe cei smeriți

și cunoaște de departe pe cei îngâmfați.

7 Când*Ps. 23:3,4. umblu în mijlocul strâmtorării, Tu mă înviorezi,

Îți întinzi mâna spre mânia vrăjmașilor mei

și dreapta Ta mă mântuiește.

8 Domnul*Ps. 57:2.Filip. 1:6. va sfârși ce a început pentru mine.

Doamne, bunătatea Ta ține în veci:

nu*Iov 10:3,8;14:15. părăsi lucrările mâinilor Tale.
