1 Jehovah, thou hast been favorable unto thy land;

Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people;

Thou hast covered all their sin. [Selah

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath;

Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation,

And cause thine indignation toward us to cease.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever?

Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

6 Wilt thou not quicken us again,

That thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Show us thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah,

And grant us thy salvation.

8 I will hear what God Jehovah will speak;

For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:

But let them not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him,

That glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together;

Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth springeth out of the earth;

And righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

12 Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good;

And our land shall yield its increase.

13 Righteousness shall go before him,

And shall make his footsteps a way to walk in.

1 Tu ai fost binevoitor cu țara Ta, Doamne!

Ai adus*Ezra 1:11;2:1.Ps. 14:7.Ier. 30:18;31:23.Ezec. 39:25.Ioel 3:1. înapoi pe prinșii de război ai lui Iacov,

2 ai iertat*Ps. 32:1. nelegiuirea poporului Tău,

i-ai acoperit toate păcatele; (Oprire)

3 Ți-ai abătut toată aprinderea

și Te-ai întors din iuțimea mâniei Tale.

4 Întoarce-ne*Ps. 80:7. iarăși, Dumnezeul mântuirii noastre!

Încetează-Ți mânia împotriva noastră!

5 În veci Te vei mânia*Ps. 74:1;79:5;80:4. pe noi?

În veci Îți vei lungi mânia?

6 Nu ne vei înviora*Hab. 3:2. iarăși,

pentru ca să se bucure poporul Tău în Tine?

7 Arată-ne, Doamne, bunătatea Ta

și dă-ne mântuirea Ta!

8 Eu voi*Hab. 2:1. asculta ce zice Dumnezeu Domnul,

căci El*Zah. 9:10. vorbește de pace poporului Său și iubiților Lui,

numai ei să*2 Pet. 2:20,21. nu cadă iarăși în nebunie.

9 Da, mântuirea Lui este aproape*Is. 46:13. de cei ce se tem de El,

pentru ca*Zah. 2:5.Ioan 1:14. în țara noastră să locuiască slava.

10 Bunătatea și credincioșia se întâlnesc,

dreptatea*Ps. 72:3.Is. 32:17.Luca 2:14. și pacea se sărută.

11 Credincioșia*Is. 45:8. răsare din pământ,

și dreptatea privește de la înălțimea cerurilor.

12 Domnul*Ps. 84:11.Iac. 1:17. ne va da și fericirea,

și pământul*Ps. 67:6. nostru își va da roadele.

13 Dreptatea*Ps. 89:14. va merge și înaintea Lui

și-L va și urma, călcând pe urmele pașilor Lui!
