1 Jehovah reigneth; let the peoples tremble:

He sitteth above the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

2 Jehovah is great in Zion;

And he is high above all the peoples.

3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name:

Holy is he.

4 The king’s strength also loveth justice;

Thou dost establish equity;

Thou executest justice and righteousness in Jacob.

5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his footstool:

Holy is he.

6 Moses and Aaron among his priests,

And Samuel among them that call upon his name;

They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

7 He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud:

They kept his testimonies,

And the statute that he gave them.

8 Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God:

Thou wast a God that forgavest them,

Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God,

And worship at his holy hill;

For Jehovah our God is holy.

El*Exod 25:22.Ps. 18:10;80:1. șade pe heruvimi: pământul se clatină.

2 Domnul este mare în Sion

și înălțat*Ps. 97:9. peste toate popoarele.

3 Să laude oamenii Numele Tău cel*Deut. 28:58.Apoc. 15:4. mare și înfricoșat,

căci este sfânt!

4 Să laude oamenii tăria*Iov 36:5-7. Împăratului, căci iubește dreptatea!

Tu întărești dreptatea,

Tu faci dreptate și judecată în Iacov.

5 Înălțați*Vers. 9. pe Domnul Dumnezeul nostru

și închinați-vă înaintea așternutului*1 Cron. 28:2.Ps. 132:7. picioarelor Lui,

căci este sfânt*Lev. 19:2.!

6 Moise*Ier. 15:1. și Aaron, dintre preoții Lui,

și Samuel, dintre cei ce chemau Numele Lui,

au chemat*Exod 14:15;15:25.1 Sam. 7:9;12:18. pe Domnul, și El i-a ascultat.

7 El le-a vorbit din*Exod 33:9. stâlpul de nor;

ei au păzit poruncile Lui și Legea pe care le-a dat-o El.

8 Doamne, Dumnezeul nostru, Tu i-ai ascultat;

ai fost pentru ei un Dumnezeu*Num. 14:20.Ier. 46:28.Ţef. 3:7. iertător,

dar i-ai pedepsit*Exod 32:2.Num. 20:12,24.Deut. 9:12. pentru greșelile lor.

9 Înălțați*Vers. 5.Exod 15:2.Ps. 34:3;118:28. pe Domnul Dumnezeul nostru

și închinați-vă pe muntele Lui cel sfânt!

Căci Domnul Dumnezeul nostru este sfânt!
