Amor Fraternal

8 above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:

10 In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another;

34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

8 Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded:

9 But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

14 and above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

8 Howbeit if ye fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well:

11 For this is the message which ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another:

14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us:

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen. 21 And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.

12 This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

8 Owe no man anything, save to love one another: for he that loveth his neighbor hath fulfilled the law.

16 Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath the world’s goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.

1 Let love of the brethren continue. 2 Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.
