1 Paulo, apóstolo de Jesus Cristo, pela vontade de Deus, aos santos que estão em Éfeso e aos fiéis em Cristo Jesus:2 Graça seja a vós, e paz, de Deus nosso Pai, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo.3 Bendito seja o Deus e Pai de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, o qual nos abençoou com todas as bênçãos espirituais nos lugares celestiais em Cristo;4 conforme ele nos escolheu nele antes da fundação do mundo, que devemos ser santos e sem culpa diante dele em amor;5 e nos predestinou para filhos de adoção por Jesus Cristo, para si mesmo, segundo a complacência da sua vontade,6 para louvor da glória da sua graça, pela qual nos fez aceitáveis a si no Amado.7 Em quem temos a redenção pelo seu sangue, o perdão dos pecados, segundo as riquezas da sua graça;8 que ele tornou abundante para conosco em toda a sabedoria e prudência,9 tendo feito conhecido entre nós o mistério da sua vontade, segundo a sua complacência, que propusera em si mesmo;10 que na dispensação da plenitude dos tempos, ele possa reunir em uma todas as coisas em Cristo, tanto as que estão no céu como as que estão na terra; nele.11 Em quem também obtemos herança, havendo sido predestinados conforme o propósito daquele que faz todas as coisas, segundo o conselho da sua vontade,12 com o fim de sermos para louvor da sua glória, os que primeiro confiaram em Cristo.13 Em quem também vós confiastes, depois que ouvistes a palavra da verdade, o evangelho da vossa salvação; em quem também depois disso crestes, fostes selados com o Espírito Santo da promessa,14 quem é a garantia da nossa herança, até a redenção da possessão adquirida, para louvor da sua glória.15 Por isso também, depois de ter ouvido falar da vossa fé no Senhor Jesus e o vosso amor para com todos os santos,16 não cesso de dar graças por vós, fazendo menção de vós em minhas orações;17 para que o Deus de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, o Pai da glória, vos dê o espírito de sabedoria e de revelação no conhecimento dele,18 tendo os olhos do vosso entendimento iluminados, para que saibais qual é a esperança do seu chamado, e quais as riquezas da glória da sua herança nos santos,19 e qual é a suprema grandeza do seu poder sobre nós, os que cremos, segundo a operação do seu grande poder,20 que manifestou em Cristo, quando o ressuscitou dos mortos e o colocou à sua própria destra nos lugares celestiais,21 muito acima de todo principado, e poder, e potestade, e domínio, e de todo nome que se nomeia, não só neste mundo, mas também no que há de vir.22 E colocou todas as coisas sob seus pés, e o fez ser cabeça da igreja sobre todas as coisas,23 que é o seu corpo, a plenitude daquele que cumpre tudo em todos.

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ,4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before Him in love,5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins, according to the riches of His grace8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding,9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might sum up in one all things in Christ, both which are in Heaven and which are on earth; in Him.11 In Him also we have been assigned to an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,12 that we who previously trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.13 In whom also, after you heard the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, believing, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,14 who is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full true knowledge of Him,18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, who believe according to the working of His mighty power20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,21 far above all rule and authority and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all things in all.
