1 Portanto, meus amados e muito queridos irmãos, minha alegria e coroa, estai assim firmes no Senhor, meus amados.2 Rogo a Evódia e rogo a Síntique que sejam da mesma mente no Senhor.3 E admoesto-te também a ti, meu verdadeiro companheiro, que ajudes essas mulheres que trabalharam comigo no evangelho, e também com Clemente, e com os outros cooperadores, cujos nomes estão no livro da vida.4 Regozijai-vos sempre no Senhor; e outra vez digo: Regozijai-vos.5 Seja a vossa moderação notória a todos os homens. O Senhor está próximo.6 Por nada estejais ansiosos; mas em tudo, pela oração e súplica com ação de graças, sejam as vossas petições conhecidas diante de Deus.7 E a paz de Deus, que excede todo o entendimento, guardará os vossos corações e as vossas mentes, através de Cristo Jesus.8 Quanto ao mais, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é honesto, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama, se há alguma virtude, e se há algum louvor, nisso pensai.9 Estas coisas que aprendestes, e recebestes, e ouvistes, e vistes em mim, isso fazei; e o Deus de paz será convosco.10 Regozijei-me grandemente no Senhor, porque finalmente o vosso cuidado por mim floresceu novamente; porque já éreis cuidadosos, mas vos faltava oportunidade.11 Não digo isto como por necessidade, porque já aprendi, seja qual for o meu estado, a estar contente com isso.12 Eu sei como estar humilhado e sei também como ter abundância; em todo lugar e em todas as coisas, estou instruído, tanto a ter fartura como a ter fome, tanto a ter abundância como a sofrer necessidade.13 Eu posso fazer todas as coisas por meio de Cristo, que me fortalece.14 Todavia, fizestes bem em tomar parte na minha aflição.15 E bem sabeis também vós, ó filipenses, que, no princípio do evangelho, quando parti da Macedônia, nenhuma igreja comunicou-se comigo com respeito a dar e a receber, senão vós somente.16 Porque até mesmo em Tessalônica, me enviaste uma e outra vez à minha necessidade.17 Não que eu deseje uma dádiva, mas eu desejo frutos que abundem em vossa conta.18 Mas tenho tudo e em abundância; cheio estou, depois que recebi de Epafrodito as coisas que me foram enviadas por vós, como cheiro de suavidade e sacrifício aceitável e aprazível a Deus.19 O meu Deus, suprirá todas as vossas necessidades, segundo as suas riquezas, em glória, por Cristo Jesus.20 Ora, ao nosso Deus e Pai seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém.21 Saudai a todos os santos em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo vos saúdam.22 Todos os santos vos saúdam, mas principalmente os que são da casa de César.23 A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com todos vós. Amém.
1 Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, beloved.2 I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.3 And I urge you also, true yoke-fellow, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!5 Let your fairness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; think on these things.9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these, and the God of peace will be with you.10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again, though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in everything I am taught both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to lack.13 I have strength for all things in Christ who strengthens me.14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress.15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.16 For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities.17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you.22 All the saints greet you, but especially those who are of Caesars household.23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
