1 A palavra que Isaías, o filho de Amós, viu concernente a Judá e Jerusalém.2 E acontecerá que nos últimos dias o monte da casa do SENHOR será estabelecido no cume dos montes, e será exaltado acima das colinas. Todas as nações fluirão em direção a ele.3 E muitos povos irão e dirão: Vinde vós e deixai-nos subir ao monte do SENHOR, em direção à casa do Deus de Jacó, e ele nos ensinará a respeito de seus caminhos, e nós andaremos nas suas veredas; pois de Sião sairá a lei, e a palavra do SENHOR de Jerusalém.4 E ele julgará entre as nações, e repreenderá muitos povos; e eles converterão suas espadas em lâminas de arado e suas lanças em foices. Nação não erguerá mais espada contra nação, nem aprenderão mais a guerrear.5 Ó casa de Jacó, vinde e deixai-nos andar na luz do SENHOR.6 Portanto, tu tens abandonado teu povo, a casa de Jacó, porque eles se abastecem do oriente, e são adivinhos como os filisteus, e eles se agradam nos filhos de estrangeiros.7 Sua terra também está repleta de prata e ouro, nem há qualquer limite para seus tesouros; sua terra também está repleta de cavalos, nem há qualquer limite para suas carruagens.8 Sua terra também está cheia de ídolos; eles adoram a obra de suas próprias mãos, a qual seus próprios dedos têm feito.9 E o pobre se abate e o nobre se humilha; portanto, não os perdoe.10 Entra entre a rocha e esconde-te na areia, por temor do SENHOR e pela glória da sua majestade.11 Os olhares altivos do homem serão humilhados, a arrogância dos homens curvar-se-á, e o SENHOR, unicamente, será exaltado naquele dia.12 Porque o dia do SENHOR dos Exércitos será sobre todo aquele que é orgulhoso e arrogante, e sobre todo aquele que é elevado, para que seja humilhado.13 E sobre todos os cedros do Líbano, que são altos e elevados, e sobre todos os carvalhos de Basã,14 e sobre todos os altos montes, e sobre todas as colinas que são elevadas,15 e sobre toda torre alta, e sobre toda muralha fortificada,16 e sobre todos os navios de Társis, e sobre todas as pinturas agradáveis.17 E a altivez do homem curvar-se-á, e a arrogância dos homens será humilhada, e só o SENHOR será exaltado naquele dia.18 E os ídolos ele extinguirá completamente.19 E eles adentrarão os buracos das rochas e nas cavernas da terra, por temor do SENHOR e pela glória de sua majestade, quando ele se erguer para sacudir terrivelmente a terra.20 Naquele dia um homem arremessará seus ídolos de prata e seus ídolos de ouro, os quais eles fizeram, cada um para si mesmo, para adorar, às toupeiras e aos morcegos;21 para adentrarem nas fendas das rochas, e nos cumes das rochas fendidas, por temor do SENHOR, e pela glória de sua majestade, quando ele se erguer para sacudir terrivelmente a terra.22 Deixai-vos do homem, cujo fôlego está em suas narinas; pois em que situação deve ser considerado?

1 The Word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:2 And it shall come to pass in the end times, that the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.3 And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the Law shall go forth, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.4 And He shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war anymore.5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.6 For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, because they have been consecrated from the east, and are fortunetellers like the Philistines, and they clap hands in worship with children of foreigners.7 Their land is also filled with silver and gold. There is no end to their treasures. And their land is full of horses, neither is there any end to their chariots.8 Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.9 People prostrate themselves, men bow low; therefore You do not forgive them.10 Enter into the rock and hide in the dust from the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of His majesty.11 The lofty eyes of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down; but Jehovah, He alone, shall be exalted in that day.12 For the day of Jehovah of Hosts shall come upon all the proud and lofty ones, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;13 and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, high and lifted up; and upon all the oaks of Bashan;14 and upon all the high mountains; and upon all the lifted up hills;15 and upon every tall tower; and upon every fortified wall;16 and upon all the ships of Tarshish; and upon all desirable craft.17 And the pride of man shall be bowed down; and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.18 And the idols shall completely pass away.19 And they shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, for the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of His majesty; when He rises up to make the earth tremble.20 In that day a man shall throw his idols of silver and gold, which they made each man to bow down to, to the moles and to the bats;21 to go into the crevices of the rocks, and into the clefts of the cliffs, from the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of His majesty; when He rises up to make the earth tremble.22 Leave off from such a man, whose breath is in his nostril; for how is he to be accounted?
