1 Desperta, desperta, veste-te de poder, ó Sião. Veste tuas lindas vestes, ó Jerusalém, a cidade santa. Porque daqui em diante não mais haverá de entrar em ti o incircunciso e o impuro.2 Sacode-te a ti mesmo do pó. Sobe e assenta-te, ó Jerusalém. Afrouxa por ti mesma os grilhões do teu pescoço, ó cativa filha de Sião.3 Porque assim diz o SENHOR: Vós tendes vos vendido por nada, e sereis redimidos sem dinheiro.4 Porque assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Meu povo desceu antigamente em direção ao Egito, para estada temporária lá, e os assírios os oprimiram sem causa.5 Agora, portanto, o que tenho eu aqui, diz o SENHOR, para meu povo ser levado por nada? Aqueles que os governam os fazem gemer, diz o SENHOR, e meu nome continuamente, todo dia, é blasfemado.6 Portanto, meu povo saberá meu nome. Portanto, eles saberão naquele dia que Eu Sou aquele que fala: Eis que nisto Eu estou.7 Como lindos sobre os montes são os pés daquele que traz boas novas, que anuncia paz, que traz boas novas do bem, que anuncia salvação, que diz a Sião: Teu Deus reina!8 Tuas sentinelas erguerão a voz; com a voz juntamente elas cantarão, porque elas verão olho a olho, quando o SENHOR trouxer novamente Sião.9 Irrompei em alegria, cantai juntamente, vós, lugares abandonados de Jerusalém, porque o SENHOR tem confortado o seu povo, ele tem redimido Jerusalém.10 O SENHOR tem desnudado seu santo braço aos olhos de todas as nações, e todos os confins da terra verão a salvação proveniente de nosso Deus.11 Parti vós, parti vós, saí vós dali, não toqueis coisa impura. Saí vós do meio dela, estai vós limpos, os que carregam os vasos do SENHOR.12 Porquanto, vós não saireis com pressa nem ireis fugindo, porque o SENHOR irá adiante de vós e o Deus de Israel será a vossa retaguarda.13 Eis que meu servo comportar-se-á prudentemente. Ele será exaltado e enaltecido e será muito elevado.14 Como muitos estavam espantados por causa de ti (seu semblante estava tão desfigurado, mais do que qualquer homem, e seu aspecto mais do que os filhos dos homens).15 Então, Ele irá aspergir muitas nações. Os reis irão fechar suas bocas perante Ele, porque aquilo que não tinha sido contado a eles, os mesmos verão, e, daquilo que eles não tinham ouvido, eles ponderarão a respeito.

1 Awake! Awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful robes, O Jerusalem, the Holy City. For never again shall the uncircumcised and unclean come into you.2 Shake yourself from the dust; rise up! Sit down, Jerusalem! Loose yourself from your neckbands, O captive daughter of Zion.3 For thus says Jehovah, You have sold yourselves for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without silver.4 For thus says the Lord Jehovah, My people went down before into Egypt to stay there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.5 Now therefore, what have I here, says Jehovah, that My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule make them howl, says Jehovah; and My name is continually blasphemed every day.6 Therefore My people shall know My name. Thus it shall be in that day, for I am He who speaks; behold, it is I.7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him bringing good tidings, proclaiming peace; bringing good news, proclaiming salvation; who says to Zion, Your God reigns!8 Your watchmen shall lift up the voice! They shall lift up the voice together in a resounding cry; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah brings Zion back.9 Break forth together into a resounding cry of joy, you waste places of Jerusalem! For Jehovah has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.10 Jehovah has bared His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.11 Depart! Depart! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean. Go out of her midst; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of Jehovah.12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for Jehovah will go before you; and the God of Israel gathers you.13 Behold, My Servant shall deal with insight; He shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.14 Just as many were astonished at You (His appearance was disfigured more than any man, and His form more than the sons of mankind);15 so shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; for that which had not been told to them, they shall see; and what they had not heard, they shall consider.
