1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:2 Fala aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus.3 Não fareis como fazem na terra do Egito, na qual habitastes, nem fareis como fazem na terra de Canaã aonde eu vos estou conduzindo. Nem andareis nos seus costumes.4 Cumprireis os meus juízos, e guardareis as minhas ordenanças, para andardes neles. Eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus.5 Portanto, guardareis os meus estatutos, e os meus juízos, pois o homem que fizer estas coisas por elas viverá. Eu sou o SENHOR.6 Nenhum de vós se aproximará de qualquer parente para descobrir a sua nudez. Eu sou o SENHOR.7 A nudez de teu pai, ou a nudez de tua mãe, tu não descobrirás; ela é tua mãe; tu não descobrirás a sua nudez.8 A nudez da mulher de teu pai, tu não descobrirás; esta é a nudez de teu pai.9 A nudez de tua irmã, filha de teu pai ou filha de tua mãe, seja ela nascida em casa ou nascida fora da casa, a sua nudez tu não descobrirás.10 A nudez da filha do teu filho ou da filha da tua filha, a sua nudez tu não descobrirás, porque é tua própria nudez.11 A nudez da filha da mulher de teu pai, gerada de teu pai, ela é tua irmã, tu não descobrirás a sua nudez.12 Tu não descobrirás a nudez da irmã de teu pai; ela é parenta próxima de teu pai.13 Tu não descobrirás a nudez da irmã de tua mãe, porque ela é parenta próxima de tua mãe.14 Tu não descobrirás a nudez do irmão de teu pai; não te chegarás à sua mulher; ela é tua tia.15 Tu não descobrirás a nudez de tua nora; ela é mulher de teu filho; não descobrirás a sua nudez.16 Tu não descobrirás a nudez da esposa de teu irmão; esta é a nudez de teu irmão.17 Tu não descobrirás a nudez de uma mulher e de sua filha; nem tomarás a filha de seu filho, ou a filha de sua filha, para descobrir a sua nudez; porque elas são parentas próximas: isto é perversidade.18 Nem tomarás uma mulher com sua irmã, para aborrecê-la, descobrindo a sua nudez, ao lado da outra durante a sua vida.19 Também não te chegarás à mulher para descobrir a sua nudez, enquanto ela for separada por sua impureza;20 além disso, não te deitarás carnalmente com a mulher de teu próximo, para te contaminares com ela.21 E tu não deixarás nenhum da tua semente passar pelo fogo perante Moloque; nem profanarás o nome do teu Deus. Eu sou o SENHOR.22 Não te deitarás com o homem, como se fosse mulher: isto é uma abominação.23 Nem te deitarás com qualquer animal, para te contaminares com ele; nem a mulher se colocará perante um animal para deitar-se com ele: isto é confusão.24 Não vos contamineis com nenhuma destas coisas, porque em todas estas coisas são contaminadas as nações que eu lanço fora de diante de vós.25 E a terra está contaminada; portanto, eu visitarei sobre ela a sua iniquidade, e a terra em si vomitará os seus habitantes.26 Portanto, vós guardareis os meus estatutos e os meus juízos, e não cometereis nenhuma dessas abominações; seja alguém do seu próprio país, ou um estrangeiro que peregrina entre vós;27 (porque todas estas abominações fizeram os homens desta terra, que nela estavam antes de vós; e a terra está contaminada).28 Para que a terra não vos vomite também, quando a contaminardes, como vomitou as nações que foram antes de vós.29 Pois qualquer que cometer alguma dessas abominações, as almas que as cometerem, serão cortadas entre o seu povo.30 Portanto, guardareis a minha ordenança, não cometendo nenhum destes costumes abomináveis que foram cometidos antes de vós, e não vos contamineis com eles. Eu sou o SENHOR vosso Deus.

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: I am Jehovah your God.3 According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you have dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances.4 You shall do My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am Jehovah your God.5 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I am Jehovah.6 None of you shall approach the flesh of anyone who is kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.7 The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.8 The nakedness of your father’s wife you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness.9 The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or elsewhere, their nakedness you shall not uncover.10 The nakedness of your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, their nakedness you shall not uncover; for theirs is your own nakedness.11 The nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, begotten by your father; she is your sister; you shall not uncover her nakedness.12 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister; she is near of kin to your father.13 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is near of kin to your mother.14 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother: You shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt.15 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.16 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife; it is your brother’s nakedness.17 You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, nor shall you take her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near of kin to her. It is wickedness.18 Nor shall you take a woman and her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, while the other is alive.19 Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual uncleanness.20 Moreover you shall not give seed to your neighbor’s wife through intercourse, to defile yourself with her.21 And you shall not give any of your seed to pass through the fire to Molech, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am Jehovah.22 You shall not lie with a male as with a female. It is an abomination.23 Nor shall you mate with any beast, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast to mate with it. It is perversion.24 Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have been defiled;25 for the land is defiled. Therefore I am visiting its depravity upon it, and the land is vomiting out its inhabitants.26 You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not do any of these abominations, neither the native nor any stranger who sojourns among you27 (for all these abominations the men who were in the land before you have done, and the land is defiled),28 that the land not also vomit you out when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you.29 For whoever does any of these abominations, the persons who do them shall be cut off from among their people.30 Therefore you shall keep My charge, so that you do not do any of these abominable customs which were done before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am Jehovah your God.
