1 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:2 Ordena aos filhos de Israel, e dize-lhes: Quando entrardes na terra de Canaã (esta é a terra que vos cairá como herança, a terra de Canaã, com suas costas).3 Então o vosso lado sul será desde o deserto de Zim, passando pela costa de Edom; e a vossa fronteira sul será desde a extremidade do mar de sal, para o oriente.4 E esta fronteira declinará, do sul para a subida de Acrabim, e passará até Zim; e as suas saídas serão do sul a Cades-Barneia; e sairá a Hazar-Adar, e passará a Azmom.5 E a fronteira dará uma volta de Azmom até o rio do Egito; e as suas saídas serão para o mar.6 E quanto à fronteira do ocidente, tereis o mar grande como fronteira; esta será a vossa fronteira ocidental.7 E esta será a vossa fronteira do norte: desde o mar grande marcareis até ao monte Hor.8 Desde o monte Hor, marcareis a vossa fronteira até a entrada de Hamate; e as saídas da fronteira serão até Zedade.9 E a fronteira sairá até Zifrom, e as suas saídas serão em Hazar-Enã; esta será a vossa fronteira do norte.10 E como fronteira oriental marcareis de Hazar-Enã até Sefã.11 E a fronteira descerá desde Sefã até Ribla, no oriente de Aim; e esta fronteira descerá e chegará à borda do mar de Quinerete, para o oriente.12 E a fronteira descerá ao Jordão, e as suas saídas serão no mar de sal; esta será a vossa terra, segundo os seus termos ao redor.13 E Moisés deu ordem aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: Esta é a terra que herdareis por sorte, e que o SENHOR ordenou que fosse dada às nove tribos e à meia tribo.14 Porque a tribo dos filhos de Rúben, segundo a casa de seus pais, e a tribo dos filhos de Gade, segundo a casa de seus pais, já receberam a sua herança, e a meia tribo de Manassés já recebeu a sua herança.15 As duas tribos e a meia tribo receberam a sua herança deste lado do Jordão, perto de Jericó, do lado oriental, ao nascente.16 E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:17 Estes são os nomes dos homens que vos dividirão a terra: Eleazar, o sacerdote, e Josué, filho de Num.18 E tomareis um príncipe de cada tribo, para dividir a terra por herança.19 E estes são os nomes dos homens: da tribo de Judá, Calebe, filho de Jefoné;20 e da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Samuel, filho de Amiúde;21 da tribo de Benjamim, Elidade, filho de Quislom;22 e da tribo dos filhos de Dã, o príncipe Buqui, filho de Jogli;23 dos filhos de José, da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, o príncipe Haniel, filho de Éfode;24 e da tribo dos filhos de Efraim, o príncipe Quemuel, filho de Siftã;25 e da tribo dos filhos de Zebulom, o príncipe Elizafã, filho de Parnaque;26 e da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, o príncipe Paltiel, filho de Azã;27 e da tribo dos filhos de Aser, o príncipe Aiúde, filho de Selomi;28 e da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, o príncipe Pedael, filho de Amiúde.29 Estes são aqueles a quem o SENHOR ordenou que, dividissem a herança entre os filhos de Israel na terra de Canaã.

1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,2 Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance; the land of Canaan to its borders.3 Your southern border shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside Edom; and your southern border shall be eastward to the end of the Salt Sea;4 your border shall turn from the southern side of the ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and be on the south of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go on to Hazar Addar, and continue to Azmon;5 the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.6 As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.7 And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out to Mount Hor;8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the extremity of the border shall be toward Zedad;9 the border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your northern border.10 You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;11 the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border shall go down and reach to the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth;12 the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding borders.13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying: This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe.14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance.15 The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on the other side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.16 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,17 These are the names of the men who shall divide the land among you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.18 And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land for the inheritance.19 These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;20 from the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud;21 from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;22 the leader from the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;23 from the sons of Joseph: the leader from the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod,24 and the leader from the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;25 the leader from the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;26 the leader from the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan;27 the leader from the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;28 and the leader from the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.29 These are the ones Jehovah has commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
