1 Então o SENHOR me disse: Vai outra vez, ama uma mulher, amada de seu amigo, portanto, uma adúltera, de acordo com o amor do SENHOR pelos filhos de Israel, que olham para outros deuses, e amam os bolos de uvas.2 Então a comprei para mim por quinze peças de prata, e por um ômer, e meio ômer de cevada.3 E disse a ela: Tu ficarás comigo muitos dias; não te prostituirás, nem serás de outro homem; assim também eu esperarei por ti.4 Porquanto os filhos de Israel ficarão por muitos dias sem um rei, e sem um príncipe, e sem um sacrifício, e sem uma imagem, e um sem éfode, e sem terafins.5 Depois, os filhos de Israel retornarão, e buscarão ao SENHOR seu Deus, e a Davi, seu rei; e temerão ao SENHOR, e à sua bondade, nos últimos dias.

1 And Jehovah said to me, Go again, love a woman loved by a companion, yet an adulteress, like the love of Jehovah toward the sons of Israel, who turn to other gods and love raisin cakes of grapes.2 So I bought her for myself with fifteen pieces of silver, and with a homer and a half of barley.3 And I said to her, You shall stay with me many days. You shall not be a harlot, nor be with another man, and I also will be for you.4 For the sons of Israel shall remain many days without king or ruler, and without sacrifice, and without pillars, and without ephod or teraphim.5 Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the latter days.
