1 Recomendo-vos Febe, nossa irmã, que é serva da igreja que está em Cencreia,2 para que a recebais no Senhor, como convém aos santos, e para que a ajudeis em qualquer coisa que ela de vós necessitar; porque ela tem sido ajudadora de muitos, e também de mim.3 Saudai a Priscila e a Áquila, meus colaboradores em Jesus Cristo,4 os quais pela minha vida expuseram seus próprios pescoços; o que não só eu lhes agradeço, mas também todas as igrejas dos gentios.5 Saudai também a igreja que está em sua casa. As igrejas de Cristo vos saúdam.17 E suplico-vos, irmãos, que observeis os que causam divisões e ofensas contra a doutrina que aprendestes; afastai-vos deles.18 Porque os tais não servem ao nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, mas ao seu próprio ventre; e, com boas palavras e lisonjas, enganam os corações dos ingênuos.19 Porque a vossa obediência veio a ser conhecida a todos os homens. Alegro-me, pois, em vosso nome; mas eu ainda quero que sejais sábios no que é bom, e ingênuos para o mal.20 E o Deus de paz esmagará em breve a Satanás debaixo de vossos pés. 1 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea,2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,4 who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Therefore I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise unto what is good, and simple toward evil.20 And the God of peace will trample Satan under your feet shortly.
