1 Salmo de Davi. Cantarei a misericórdia e o juízo; a ti, ó SENHOR, eu cantarei.2 Comportar-me-ei sabiamente no caminho perfeito. Oh, quando virás a mim? Andarei em minha casa com um coração perfeito.3 Não porei coisa maligna diante dos meus olhos. Eu odeio a obra daqueles que se desviam; não me contaminará.4 Um coração perverso se apartará de mim; eu não conhecerei a pessoa maligna.5 Aquele que calunia o seu próximo secretamente, eu o cortarei; aquele que tem um olhar soberbo e um coração orgulhoso, eu não o suportarei.6 Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que eles habitem comigo; aquele que anda no caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.7 Aquele que lida com engano não habitará dentro da minha casa; o que fala mentiras não permanecerá aos meus olhos.8 Cedo irei destruir todos os ímpios da terra, cortarei todos os ímpios da cidade do SENHOR.

1 I will sing of mercy and justice; unto You, O Jehovah, will I make music.2 I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.3 I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me.4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know evil.5 Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, I will annihilate; the one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, I will not endure.6 My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way shall serve me.7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not be established in my sight.8 Early will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the doers of wickedness from the city of Jehovah.
