1 Louvai o SENHOR. Louvai, ó vós, servos do SENHOR, louvai o nome do SENHOR.2 Bendito seja o nome do SENHOR desde este tempo em diante e para sempre.3 Desde o nascer até o pôr do sol, o nome do SENHOR é para ser louvado.4 O SENHOR está no alto sobre todas as nações, e a sua glória sobre os céus.5 Quem é como o SENHOR nosso Deus, que habita no alto;6 Que se humilha para contemplar as coisas que estão no céu e na terra?7 Ele levanta o pobre da poeira, e eleva o necessitado do monturo;8 para que ele o possa pôr com príncipes, até mesmo os príncipes do seu povo.9 Ele faz com que a mulher estéril mantenha a casa, e seja uma alegre mãe de filhos. Louvai ao SENHOR.

Praise, O servants of Jehovah, praise the name of Jehovah!2 Blessed is the name of Jehovah from this time forth and forevermore!3 From the rising of the sun to its going down Jehovah’s name is to be praised.4 Jehovah is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.5 Who is like Jehovah our God, who dwells on high,6 who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth!7 He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap,8 that He may seat him with nobles; with the nobles of His people.9 He causes the barren to dwell in a house, like a joyful mother of children.
