1 Eu amo o SENHOR porque ele ouviu a minha voz e as minhas súplicas.2 Porque ele inclinou o seu ouvido a mim; portanto eu o chamarei enquanto eu viver.3 As tristezas da morte me cercaram, e as dores do inferno se apoderaram de mim; eu encontrei tribulação e tristeza.4 Então chamei o nome do SENHOR: Ó SENHOR, eu te suplico, livra a minha alma.5 Gracioso é o SENHOR e justo; sim, o nosso Deus é misericordioso.6 O SENHOR preserva os simples; eu estava abatido, e ele me socorreu.7 Retorna ao teu descanso, ó minha alma; pois o SENHOR lidou beneficentemente contigo.8 Pois tu livraste a minha alma da morte, os meus olhos das lágrimas, e os meus pés da queda.9 Eu andarei perante o SENHOR na terra dos viventes.10 Eu cri, portanto falei: Fui grandemente afligido.11 Disse na minha pressa: Todos os homens são mentirosos.12 O que entregarei eu ao SENHOR, por todos os benefícios para comigo?13 Tomarei o cálice da salvação, e clamarei no nome do SENHOR.14 Agora pagarei os meus votos ao SENHOR na presença de todo o seu povo.15 Preciosa à vista do SENHOR é a morte dos seus santos.16 Ó SENHOR, verdadeiramente eu sou o teu servo; eu sou o teu servo, e o filho da tua serva; tu soltaste as minhas amarras.17 Oferecer-te-ei o sacrifício de ação de graças, e clamarei no nome do SENHOR.18 Agora pagarei os meus votos ao SENHOR na presença de todo o seu povo.19 Nos átrios da casa do SENHOR, no meio de ti, ó Jerusalém. Louvai ao SENHOR.

1 I love Jehovah, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.2 Because He has extended His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him all my days.3 The bands of death have encompassed me, and the distress of Sheol has fallen upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.4 Then I called upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech You, deliver my soul!5 Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.6 Jehovah protects the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.7 Return to your rest, O my soul, for Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you.8 For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.9 I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.10 I had been certain, therefore I spoke; I have been greatly afflicted.11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.12 What shall I return unto Jehovah for all His benefits toward me?13 I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.14 I will make good my vows unto Jehovah now in the presence of all His people.15 Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of His saints.16 O Jehovah, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid; You have loosed my bonds.17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jehovah.18 I will make good my vows unto Jehovah now in the presence of all His people,19 in the courts of the house of Jehovah, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem.
