1 Louvai ao SENHOR. Cantai ao SENHOR uma nova canção, e seu louvor na congregação dos santos.2 Regozije-se Israel naquele que o fez, alegrem-se os filhos de Sião no seu Rei.3 Louvem o seu nome na dança; cantem louvores a ele com tamboril e harpa.4 Pois o SENHOR tem prazer em seu povo; ele embelezará os mansos com a salvação.5 Alegrem-se os santos na glória; cantem alto sobre as suas camas.6 Estejam em sua boca os altos louvores de Deus, e uma espada de dois fios na sua mão,7 para executarem vingança sobre os pagãos, e punições sobre o povo;8 para amarrarem os seus reis com correntes, e os seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;9 para executarem sobre eles o juízo escrito; todos os seus santos têm esta honra. Sing unto Jehovah a new song, and His praise in the assembly of saints.2 Let Israel rejoice in Him who made them; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.3 Let them praise His name in the dance; let them make music unto Him with the timbrel and harp.4 For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation.5 Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them shout aloud upon their beds.6 Let the exaltation of the Mighty God be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand,7 to execute vengeance upon the nations, and punishment upon the peoples;8 to bind their kings with fetters, and their nobles with bonds of iron;9 to execute upon them the judgment that is written; this honor is for all His saints.
