1 Ao Músico-chefe, Salmo de Davi, o servo do SENHOR. A transgressão do perverso, diz aqui dentro o meu coração, que não há temor de Deus diante dos seus olhos.2 Porque ele se lisonjeia aos seus próprios olhos, até que sua iniquidade seja descoberta por ser odiosa.3 As palavras de sua boca são iniquidade e engano; ele deixou de ser sábio, e de fazer o bem.4 Ele intenta o dano sobre sua cama; põe-se em um caminho que não é bom; ele não abomina o mal.5 Tua misericórdia, ó SENHOR, está nos céus; e tua fidelidade alcança as nuvens.6 Tua justiça é como os grandes montes; teus julgamentos são um grande abismo; ó SENHOR, tu preservas o homem e o animal.7 Quão excelente é a tua benignidade, ó Deus! Por isso os filhos dos homens põem sua confiança debaixo da sombra de tuas asas.8 Eles serão abundantemente satisfeitos com a gordura da tua casa; e tu os fará beber dos rios dos teus prazeres.9 Porque contigo está a fonte da vida; em tua luz veremos a luz.10 Ó, continue tua benignidade sobre aqueles que te conhecem; e a tua justiça ao reto de coração.11 Não deixes que o pé do orgulho venha contra mim, e não deixes a mão do perverso me remover.12 Ali estão caídos os trabalhadores da iniquidade; eles estão derrubados, e não serão capazes de se levantar.

1 The transgression of the wicked declares within my heart: There is no fear of God before his eyes.2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity and hate is found.3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he has left off acting wisely and doing good.4 He devises wickedness on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not despise evil.5 Your mercy, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Jehovah, You deliver man and beast.7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wings.8 They shall be satisfied with the fatness of Your house; and You shall make them drink of the river of Your pleasures.9 For with You is the Fountain of Life; in Your light we shall see light.10 O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart.11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked cause me to wander.12 There the doers of wickedness have fallen; they have been cast down, and are not able to rise.
