1 Ao Músico-chefe, sobre Neginote, Salmo de Davi. Ouve o meu clamor, ó Deus; atende à minha oração.2 Do fim da terra eu clamarei a ti, quando o meu coração estiver oprimido; guia-me para a rocha que é mais alta do que eu.3 Pois tu tens sido um abrigo para mim, e uma torre forte contra o inimigo.4 Eu habitarei no teu tabernáculo para sempre; eu confiarei no esconderijo das tuas asas. Selá.5 Pois tu, ó Deus, ouviste os meus votos; tu me deste a herança daqueles que temem o teu nome.6 Tu prolongarás a vida do rei, e os seus anos como os de muitas gerações.7 Ele habitará diante de Deus para sempre; ó, prepara misericórdia e verdade, para que possam preservá-lo.8 Então cantarei louvores ao teu nome para sempre, para que eu possa diariamente realizar os meus votos.

1 Hear my cry, O God; give attention to my prayer.2 From the ends of the earth I cry out to You when my heart is faint; lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.3 For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower before the enemy.4 I will dwell in Your tent forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.5 For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given an inheritance to those who fear Your name.6 You will add days to the days of the king; his years unto generations and generations.7 He shall abide before God forever; appoint mercy and truth to preserve him.8 So I will make music unto Your name forever, so that I may daily make good my vows.
