1 Em ti, ó SENHOR, eu ponho a minha confiança; que eu nunca seja confundido.2 Livra-me na tua justiça, e faze-me escapar; inclina o teu ouvido para mim, e salva-me.3 Sê tu a minha forte habitação, à qual eu possa continuamente recorrer; tu deste o comando para me salvar, pois tu és a minha rocha e a minha fortaleza.4 Livra-me, ó Deus, da mão do perverso, da mão do injusto e do homem cruel.5 Pois tu és a minha esperança, ó Senhor DEUS, tu és a minha confiança desde a minha juventude.6 Por ti eu tenho sido sustentado desde do útero; tu és aquele que me tiraste das entranhas da minha mãe; meu louvor será continuamente teu.7 Sou como um prodígio para muitos, mas tu és o meu forte refúgio.8 Que a minha boca se encha com o teu louvor e com a tua honra todo o dia.9 Não me lances fora no tempo da velhice; não me abandones quando desfalecer a minha força.10 Porque os meus inimigos falam contra mim, e aqueles que ficam à espreita pela minha alma aconselham-se juntos;11 Dizendo: Deus o abandonou. Persegui-o e tomai-o, pois não há ninguém que o livre.12 Ó Deus, não fiques longe de mim; ó meu Deus, apressa-te ao meu socorro.13 Que sejam confundidos e consumidos aqueles que são adversários da minha alma; sejam encobertos com vergonha e desonra aqueles que buscam me ferir.14 Mas eu esperarei continuamente, e te louvarei mais e mais.15 Minha boca mostrará a tua justiça e a tua salvação todo o dia, pois eu não conheço os seus números.16 Irei na força do Senhor DEUS; farei menção da tua justiça, somente da tua.17 Ó Deus, tu me ensinaste desde a minha juventude; e até agora eu declarei as tuas maravilhosas obras.18 Agora também, quando estou velho e grisalho, ó Deus, não me abandones; até que eu tenha mostrado a tua força a esta geração, e o teu poder a cada um que vier.19 Tua justiça também, ó Deus, é muito alta, que fizeste grandes coisas; ó Deus, quem é como tu?20 Tu que me mostraste grandes e dolorosas tribulações, deixa-me viver novamente, e das profundezas da terra me tornarás a trazer.21 Tu aumentarás a minha grandeza, e me consolarás por todo lado.22 Eu também te louvarei com saltério, tua verdade, ó meu Deus; a ti eu cantarei com a harpa, ó tu Santo de Israel.23 Meus lábios se regozijarão grandemente quando eu cantar a ti; e a minha alma, à qual tu remiste.24 Minha língua também falará da tua justiça por todo o dia; pois eles são confundidos, são trazidos à vergonha, aqueles que buscam me ferir.

1 In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame.2 Rescue me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape; extend Your ear to me, and save me.3 Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may continually go; You have given command to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.5 For You are my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my trust from my youth.6 Upon You I have been supported from the womb; You are He who took me out of my mother’s belly; my praise shall continually be of You.7 I am like a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge.8 Let my mouth be filled with Your praise, with Your glory all the day.9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.10 For my enemies speak against me; and those who lie in wait for my soul take counsel together,11 saying, God has forsaken him; pursue and take him, for there is no one to rescue him.12 O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!13 Let them be ashamed; let those who are enemies of my soul be consumed; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor, who seek my hurt.14 But I will hope continually, and I have praised You again and again.15 My mouth shall recount Your righteousness and Your salvation all the day; for I do not know their number.16 I will go in the strength of the Lord Jehovah; I will keep in remembrance Your righteousness; Yours alone.17 O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I have declared Your marvelous works.18 And now when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me, until I have declared Your strength to this generation, and Your power to everyone who is to come.19 Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, You who have done great things. O God, who is like You,20 who has shown me great and evil distresses. You will revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth.21 You will increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.22 I will also give thanks unto You with the lute, O my God, for Your faithfulness. To You I will make music with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I make music unto You, and my soul, which You have redeemed.24 My tongue also shall meditate on Your righteousness all day long; for those who seek evil upon me are abashed; they are brought to shame.
