1 Salmo para Salomão. Dê ao rei os teus juízos, ó Deus, e a tua justiça ao filho do rei.2 Ele julgará o teu povo com justiça, e aos teus pobres com juízo.3 As montanhas trarão paz ao povo, e os pequenos montes, por justiça.4 Ele julgará os pobres do povo, salvará os filhos dos necessitados, e quebrará em pedaços o opressor.5 Eles te temerão enquanto durarem o sol e a lua, através de todas as gerações.6 Ele descerá como a chuva sobre a grama cortada; como as chuvas que regam a terra.7 Em seus dias o justo florescerá, e a abundância de paz haverá enquanto a lua durar.8 Ele também dominará de mar a mar, desde o rio até os confins da terra.9 Aqueles que habitam no deserto se curvarão diante dele, e os seus inimigos lamberão o pó.10 Os reis de Társis e das ilhas trarão presentes; os reis de Sabá e Seba oferecerão presentes.11 Sim, todos os reis cairão diante dele; todas as nações o servirão.12 Pois ele livrará o necessitado quando ele clamar; também o pobre, e aquele que não tem ajudador.13 Ele poupará o pobre e o necessitado, e salvará as almas dos necessitados.14 Ele resgatará a sua alma do engano e da violência; e precioso será o seu sangue à sua vista.15 E ele viverá, e a ele será dado o ouro de Sabá; orações também serão feitas por ele continuamente, e diariamente ele será louvado.16 Haverá um punhado de trigo na terra sobre o topo dos montes; o seu fruto sacudirá como o Líbano, e aqueles da cidade florescerão como a erva da terra.17 Seu nome durará para sempre; seu nome será contínuo tanto quanto o sol, e os homens serão abençoados nele; todas as nações o chamarão de abençoado.18 Bendito seja o SENHOR Deus, o Deus de Israel, que só faz coisas maravilhosas.19 E bendito seja o seu glorioso nome para sempre, e encha-se toda a terra com a sua glória; Amém, e Amém.20 As orações de Davi, filho de Jessé, terminam aqui.
1 Give the king Your justice, O God, and Your righteousness to the kings Son.2 He will judge Your people in righteousness, and Your lowly with justice.3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.4 He shall execute justice for the lowly of the people; He shall save the children of the needy, and shall crush in pieces the oppressor.5 They shall fear You as long as the sun and moon endure, from generation to generation.6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, like showers that water the earth.7 In His days the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.8 He shall also have dominion from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him; and His enemies shall lick the dust.10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him.12 For He shall deliver the needy when he cries, and the lowly who has no helper.13 He shall have pity on the poor and needy and shall save the souls of the needy.14 He shall redeem their soul from oppression and violence; and their blood shall be precious in His sight.15 And He shall live, and to Him shall be given the gold of Sheba; and prayer shall continually be made for Him; He shall be blessed daily.16 There shall be an abundance of grain in the earth on the top of the mountains; its fruit shall shake like Lebanon, and those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.17 His name is eternal; His name shall continue and increase before the sun; and men shall be blessed in Him; all nations shall call Him blessed.18 Blessed is Jehovah God, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.19 And blessed is His glorious name forever; let all the earth be filled with His glory!
