Dai ouvidos, ó Pastor de Israel, tu que guias José como um rebanho; tu que habitas entre os querubins, resplandece.2 Diante de Efraim, Benjamim e Manassés, agita a tua força, e vem e salva-nos.3 Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus, e faz brilhar a tua face; e seremos salvos.4 Ó SENHOR, Deus dos Exércitos, por quanto tempo ficarás zangado contra a oração do teu povo?5 Tu os alimentaste com o pão de lágrimas, e deste-lhes lágrimas para beber em grande quantidade.6 Tu crias contendas aos nossos vizinhos; e os nossos inimigos riem entre si.7 Faze-nos voltar novamente, ó Deus dos Exércitos, e faz brilhar a tua face; e nós seremos salvos.8 Tu trouxeste uma videira do Egito; expulsaste os pagãos e a plantaste.9 Preparaste um lugar diante dela, e a fizeste aprofundar raízes, e ela preencheu a terra.10 Os montes foram cobertos pela sua sombra, e seus ramos foram como cedros graciosos.11 Ela enviou os seus ramos ao mar, e seus galhos ao rio.12 Então, por que quebraste-lhe as suas sebes, para que todos os que passassem pelo caminho lhe arranquem algo?13 O javali da floresta a desperdiça, e o animal selvagem do campo o devora.14 Retorna, nós te imploramos, ó Deus dos Exércitos; olha para baixo do céu, contempla e visita esta videira.15 E a vinha que a tua mão direita plantou, e o galho que tu fizeste forte para ti.16 Ele está queimado pelo fogo, ele está cortado; eles perecem à repreensão do teu semblante.17 esteja a tua mão sobre o homem da tua mão direita, sobre o filho do homem a quem fizeste forte para ti mesmo.18 Assim nós não voltaremos de ti, vivifica-nos, e nos chamaremos pelo teu nome.19 Faze-nos voltar novamente, ó SENHOR Deus dos Exércitos, faz brilhar a tua face; e seremos salvos.

1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!2 Stir up Your strength before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh and come and save us!3 Bring us back, O God, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!4 O Jehovah the God of Hosts, how long will You be angry against the prayer of Your people?5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink a third time.6 You make us an object of contention to our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves.7 Bring us back, O God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt; You have cast out the nations and planted it.9 You have cleared away for it, and caused the roots to take root, and it filled the land.10 The hills were covered with its shade, and its boughs were like mighty cedars.11 It sent out its boughs to the Sea, and its branches to the River.12 Why have You broken down its hedges, so that all who pass by the way pluck its fruit?13 The boar out of the woods tears it up, and the wild beast of the field devours it.14 Return, we beseech You, O God of Hosts; look down from Heaven and look upon and visit this vine,15 and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted, and the son that You made strong for Yourself.16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of Your face.17 Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself.18 Then we will not turn back from You; revive us, and we will call upon Your name.19 Turn us back, O Jehovah the God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!
