Selá.3 Defendei os pobres e os órfãos; fazei justiça ao aflito e ao necessitado.4 Livrai o pobre e o necessitado; liberte-os da mão dos perversos.5 Eles não conhecem, nem entendem; eles caminham na escuridão; todos os fundamentos da terra estão fora de curso.6 Eu disse: Vós sois deuses, e todos vós sois filhos do Altíssimo.7 Todavia morrereis como homens, e caireis como um dos príncipes.8 Levanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra. Pois tu herdarás todas as nações.

1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods.2 How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked? Selah3 Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.4 Deliver the poor and needy; rescue them out of the hand of the wicked.5 They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.6 I have said, You gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.7 But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for You shall inherit all nations.
