Não estejas em silêncio, ó Deus; não te cales, e não fiques imóvel, ó Deus.2 Pois eis que teus inimigos fazem um tumulto, e aqueles que te odeiam levantaram a cabeça.3 Eles tomaram astuto conselho contra o teu povo, e consultaram contra os teus escondidos.4 Eles disseram: Vinde, nós os cortemos fora para que não sejam uma nação; que o nome de Israel não seja mais em lembrança.5 Pois eles se consultaram juntos com um consentimento; estão aliados contra ti.6 Os tabernáculos de Edom, e os ismaelitas; de Moabe e os agarenos;7 Gebal, Amom e Amaleque; os filisteus com os habitantes de Tiro.8 Assur também se juntou a eles; eles ajudaram os filhos de Ló. Selá.9 Faça a eles como aos midianitas; como a Sísera, como a Jabim, no ribeiro de Quisom;10 os quais pereceram em En-Dor; tornaram-se como estrume para a terra.11 Faze seus nobres como Orebe, e como Zeebe; sim, todos os seus príncipes como Zebá e como Zalmuna.12 Que disseram: Tomemos para nós as casas de Deus em possessão.13 Ó meu Deus, faze-os como uma roda, como o restolho diante do vento.14 Como o fogo queima a madeira, e como a chama que incendeia os montes.15 Então, persegue-os com a tua tempestade, e deixa-os com medo da tua tormenta.16 Enche as suas faces de vergonha, para que eles possam buscar o teu nome, ó SENHOR.17 Que eles sejam confundidos e atribulados para sempre; sim, sejam eles envergonhados e pereçam.18 Que os homens possam saber que tu, cujo único nome é JEOVÁ, és o Altíssimo sobre a terra.

1 Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still, O Mighty God!2 For lo, Your enemies roar; and those who hate You have lifted up their head.3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, and conspired against Your treasure.4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.5 For they have consulted together with one heart; they covenant an alliance against You:6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites;7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assyria also has joined with them; they have helped the sons of Lot. Selah9 Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sisera, as with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,10 who perished at En Dor, who became as dung upon the land.11 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, yea, all their anointed like Zebah and Zalmunna,12 who have said, Let us take for ourselves the pastures of God for a possession.13 O my God, make them like the whirling dust, like the chaff before the wind!14 As the fire burns the forest, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire,15 so pursue them with Your tempest, and terrify them with Your storm.16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Jehovah.17 Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever; yea, let them be abashed and perish,18 that they may know that You, whose name alone is Jehovah, are the Most High over all the earth.
