1 Oração de Davi. Inclina o teu ouvido, ó SENHOR, ouve-me, pois eu sou pobre e necessitado.2 Preserva a minha alma; pois eu sou santo; ó tu, meu Deus, salva o teu servo que confia em ti.3 Tem misericórdia de mim, ó Senhor, pois eu clamo a ti diariamente.4 Regozija a alma do teu servo; pois para ti, ó Senhor, elevo a minha alma.5 Pois tu, Senhor, és bom, e pronto a perdoar; e abundante em misericórdia a todos aqueles que clamam a ti.6 Dá ouvidos, ó SENHOR, à minha oração; e atende à voz das minhas súplicas.7 No dia da minha tribulação, eu clamarei a ti; pois tu me responderás.8 Entre os deuses não há nenhum como tu, ó Senhor, nem há obras como as tuas obras.9 Todas as nações que tu fizeste virão e adorarão diante de ti, ó Senhor; e glorificarão o teu nome.10 Pois tu és grande e fazes coisas maravilhosas; somente tu és Deus.11 Ensina-me o teu caminho, ó SENHOR; eu andarei na tua verdade; une o meu coração para temer o teu nome.12 Eu te louvarei, ó Senhor meu Deus, com todo o meu coração, e glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.13 Pois grande é a tua misericórdia para comigo, e tu livraste minha alma do mais baixo inferno.14 Ó Deus, os orgulhosos se levantam contra mim, e as assembleias de homens violentos buscaram a minha alma, e não te puseram diante deles.15 Mas tu, ó Senhor, és um Deus cheio de compaixão, e gracioso, longânimo, e abundante em misericórdia e verdade.16 Ó, torna-te a mim, e tem misericórdia de mim; dá a tua força ao teu servo, e salva o filho da tua serva.17 Mostra-me um sinal pelo bem; que aqueles que me odeiam possam vê-lo, e fiquem envergonhados, porque tu, SENHOR, me ajudaste e me consolaste.

1 Extend Your ear, O Jehovah, hear me; for I am lowly and needy.2 Preserve my soul, for I am holy; You my God, save Your servant who trusts in You!3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry out to You daily.4 Make glad the soul of Your servant, for unto You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abounding in mercy unto all those who call upon You.6 Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer; and give attention to the voice of my supplications.7 In the day of my distress I will call upon You, for You will answer me.8 Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor any like Your works.9 All nations whom You have made shall come and bow down before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name;10 for You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.11 Teach me Your way, O Jehovah; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name always.13 For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.14 O God, the proud have risen against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set You before them.15 But You, O Lord, are a Mighty God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.16 O turn to me, and have mercy upon me! Give Your strength to Your servant, and deliver the son of Your handmaid.17 Show me a sign for good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, because You, Jehovah, have helped me and comforted me.
