3 Pentrucă tot lumeşti sînteţi. În adevăr, cînd între voi sînt zavistii, certuri şi desbinări, nu sînteţi voi lumeşti şi nu trăiţi voi în felul celorlalţi oameni?

4 Cînd unul zice: ,,Eu sînt al lui Pavel! Şi altul: ,,Eu sînt al lui Apolo: nu sînteţi voi oameni de lume?

5 Cine este Pavel? Şi cine este Apolo? Nişte slujitori ai lui Dumnezeu, prin cari aţi crezut; şi fiecare după puterea dată lui de Domnul.

6 Eu am sădit, Apolo a udat, dar Dumnezeu a făcut să crească:

7 aşa că nici cel ce sădeşte, nici cel ce udă nu sînt nimic; ci Dumnezeu, care face să crească.

8 Cel ce sădeşte şi cel ce udă, sînt tot una; şi fiecare îşi va lua răsplata după osteneala lui.

9 Căci noi sîntem împreună lucrători cu Dumnezeu. Voi sînteţi ogorul lui Dumnezeu, clădirea lui Dumnezeu.

3 for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men? 4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," aren’t you fleshly?

5 Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him? 6 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
