Collection for the Jerusalem Church

Final Exhortation

13 Be alert, stand firm in the faith,  * 16:13 Jd 3 be courageous,  * 16:13 Lit act like men be strong. 14 Do everything in love.  * 16:14 1Co 13:1

15 Brothers and sisters, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits  * 16:15 Lv 2:12 of Achaia  * 16:15 Ac 18:12 and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you 16 also to submit to such people, and to everyone who works and labors with them. 17 I am delighted to have Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus present, because these men have made up for your absence. 18 For they have refreshed my spirit  * 16:18 Ps 51:12 and yours. Therefore recognize  * 16:18 1Th 5:12 such people.

Conclusion
