1 About the times and the seasons:  * 5:1 Dn 2:21; Ac 1:7 Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord  * 5:2 Jl 2:1; Mt 25:13; Ac 2:20; Php 1:6 will come just like a thief  * 5:2 Jn 10:1 in the night. 3 When they say, "Peace and security," then sudden destruction  * 5:3 2Th 1:9 will come upon them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
