Daniel 7

13 I continued watching in the night visions,

and suddenly one like a son of man  * 7:13 Mt 16:27–28; 24:30; Lk 21:27; Ac 7:56; Rv 1:7,13; 14:14

was coming with the clouds of heaven.  * 7:13 Mt 26:64; Mk 13:26; 14:62

He approached the Ancient of Days

and was escorted before him.

14 He was given dominion  * 7:14 Jn 3:35; 1Co 15:27; Eph 1:20–22; Php 2:9; Rv 1:6; 11:15

and glory and a kingdom,

so that those of every people,

nation, and language  * 7:14 Ps 72:11; 102:22; Rv 10:11

should serve  * 7:14 Dn 3:14,17–18,28; 6:17,21; 7:27 him.

His dominion is an everlasting  * 7:14 Heb 12:28  dominion

that will not pass away,

and his kingdom is one

that will not be destroyed.
